How to apply for registration NTRUHS, APNMC (YSRUHS) – RN/RM

Learn the step-by-step process to apply for registration at NTR University (YSRUHS) and APNMC for RN/RM. Get detailed guidelines, required documents, and important dates for a smooth application experience.

What is Registration?

Registration is the formal process of enrolling and recording the qualifications and credentials of healthcare professionals, such as Nurses, Midwives, Health Workers, Health Visitors, and B.Sc. Nurses, with a governing body or council. This process ensures that the professionals meet the necessary standards and qualifications to practice legally and safely within a specific region or state.

In the context of NTR University (YSRUHS) and APNMC, registration involves the following steps:

  1. Verification of Credentials: The governing council verifies the educational qualifications and certifications of the applicant to ensure they meet the required standards.
  2. Issuance of Registration Certificate: Once the credentials are verified, the council issues a registration certificate. This certificate is proof that the professional is authorized to practice in Andhra Pradesh.
  3. Periodic Renewal: As per the recommendations of the Indian Nursing Council (INC), registered professionals must renew their certificates every five years to maintain their registration status. This ensures that they remain up-to-date with current practices and continue to meet professional standards.
  4. No Objection Certificate (NOC): For candidates who have studied and passed their examinations in other states, obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is a prerequisite for registration in Andhra Pradesh. The NOC confirms that there are no objections to the candidate registering in a different state.

Who Can Apply for Registration at NTR University (YSRUHS) and APNMC?

Under Rule 31 made under Section 11 (2) (b) of Andhra Pradesh Nurses and Midwives (Extension & Amendment) Act, 1964 the Council is empowered to Register the Certificates of Nurses, Midwives, Health workers, Health Visitors and B.Sc. (Nurse). The Candidates should renew the certificates once in five years as per the recommendations of the INC.

The candidates who havestudied and passed the examination from other states are eligible to register in Andhra Pradesh after getting No Objection Certificate.

Eligibility Check: Ensure you have completed an equivalent course or degree that qualifies you for registration. This includes degrees and certifications for Nurses, Midwives, Health Workers, Health Visitors, and B.Sc. Nurses.
